Club and Course Information

Playing Times

The Club plays each Wednesday (12 noon) and on Sunday’s (11.30am). On Wednesday all players pay their green fees at the Pro-Shop then bring their card to the club Registration table, there they will get a tee time and need to pay the comp Match Fees, for 2020 - this is $8.

All Sunday games are pre-booked by the Club on a Thursday afternoon, this is done direct with the Pro Shop. Green Fees and the Sunday comp Match Fees ($8) are however paid direct to the Committee at the Registration table. Please note that registering early on line, or in the Green Book, helps the club to confirm its booking and ensures we avoid being charged for cancellations. Text to the Club phone are also accepeted for bookings in line with the Thursday deadline. (Extreme circumstances will always be considered, but late bookings may mean we cannot ensure you a game).

Dress Standards

Dress standards disallow jeans, shirts without collars, work shorts and unsuitable footwear. Club shirts are always preferred especially on Sundays.

Card Completion

Handicaps should be checked prior to commencing the game. The score card must be handed into the Table as soon as possible after completion. The card must show the names and handicaps of both the player and marker and be clearly dated. Also include the competition format. Cards cannot be retrieved for amendment after being submitted. Unsigned cards, cards without a handicap, or an incorrect handicap, will result in disqualification

Presentations

To foster the social aspects of the Club and to recognise achievement all Members are urged to stay after the game for the Club presentations. Please provide your apologies to a Committee Member if you are unable to stay then prizes can be retained.

Distance Indicators

Distance indicators are posts at the sides of the fairway 100 metres, 150 metres or 200 metres from the centre of the Green. They are Immovable Obstructions with relief available without penalty from interference with either the player’s stance or intended swing (not line of sight).

Out of Bounds

When a post defines Out of Bounds the ball is out when no part of it can be seen on a line between the inside of two posts. The position of wire mesh fencing does not influence this determination. Relief without penalty from interference by the posts is not available as they on not part of the Course.

Lateral Water Hazards

All lakes on the Course are Lateral Water Hazards. The extent of the Hazard is marked either with a red stake or red line on the ground. Please also refer to the local rules below for definition of the ‘natural limits’ of water hazards.

Count Back System
