TIPS ON AVOIDING SLOW PLAY

The following principles of “ Ready Golf” are official Club Policy.

Please consider ways you can save time so that all players enjoy a quick game.

• If the player who is next to play is not ready PLAY YOUR SHOT!
• Mark your card only after teeing off on the next tee!
• It may be worth allowing shorter hitters to go first!
• Think about your club selection before you get to the ball where possible!
• Watch other player’s balls and pick a land mark to assist finding them!
• Always play a provisional if there is a chance your ball is lost or out of bounds!
• Ensure you know where your ball is before assisting others look for theirs!
• Limit your practice swings to one or two!

THERE’S NO NEED TO RUSH, JUST BE READY!

Remember ……. We are playing on a public Course and the Club has no control over players outside of the Club. We all need to be patient and tolerant sometimes.

ABUSE TOWARDS ANY OTHER PLAYER IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE.
